Dining With Grace is passionate about the art of dining well.

We believe that amazing and relevant food is a main attraction at any gathering so we create  food that incites a response. A cultural response—a deep knowing that the food was made with love specifically and respectfully reflecting your story. An emotional response—the joy in knowing you are sharing a deliciously joyful experience with your loved ones. A physical response—after one bite, all senses gravitate towards finding your next!

We start with the best specialty and local ingredients we can find. By working with local farms, butchers and specialty markets to ensure that our clients have access to the best and the diverse offerings of the Great Melting Pot of NYC and beyond!

With excellence in product we aspire to only let it be second to excellence in service. Our goal is for our clients to experience warmth and generosity from the beginning of their experience to the end, seamlessly becoming part of the Dining With Grace family! As Dining With Grace showcases the beauty of Pan-African cuisines, we also continuously aspire to showcase the excellence of our creativity, professionalism and hospitality.

MEET THE CHEF + OWNER

Grace Odogbili

Dining With Grace’s Chef & Owner, Grace Odogbili, developed a passion for the culinary arts from an unlikely source, yet grounded in the art of celebration.

As a youth, she helped her parent’s small basement Brooklyn church host monthly outreach dinners. There she would help prepare, plate and serve diverse dishes to the local community. With joyful music and much excitement, they would serve everyone that would come in, inviting local shelters and everyone from the neighborhood. As a child, she learned that the art of celebration, really meant sharing the best of what you have with great love and joy. This is what makes family out of strangers. Dining With Grace hopes to reflect that same joy in hospitality to her worldwide clientele.

After getting her BA at Stony Brook University, Grace entered the workforce by way of Financial Services. During this time she also enrolled in a summer program at French Culinary Institute, studying the Essentials of Fine Cooking. Due to sudden layoffs in 2009, Grace soon after took a (big) leap and launched Dining With Grace, followed by attending a local community college to study Hospitality Management. It was there that she envisioned and developed her signature modern Pan-African style of catering.

Ok, now for the fun stuff…Chef Grace is Nigerian-American, born and raised in Brooklyn, NY (and is proud to have a Brooklyn-based business!), loves the beach, is unnaturally obsessed with the color green, and is not giving up on her mission to learn acoustic guitar.
